South African based designer Suzaan Heyns is known best for her avant-garde aesthetic. Her highly constructed, tailored and sculptured garments creates a feeling of conceptual androgyny, and steely hard edged femininity, which is a common thread throughout her work. Inspiration often comes from architecture, 1800’s sketches and old medical instruments, which gives the brand it’s macabre yet structured sentiment.
