AFRICA FASHION WEEK 2010 YOU ARE HERE

 

Heyns took inspiration from the topographical and agricultural landscapes of Southern Africa and translated these facets of Africa into textures, panelling and colours. The base notes of South Africa, and all its cultures, were used in the layering of the show looks. The concept was to take traditional staples, such as Lesotho blankets, and transform them into textural silhouettes and inspirations.
